the roses in the estuary come flush with September buds alongside the rosehips.

like blooming June

This rose (seen in the last entry) is flowering like june. Buds bursting all over. Here is an image taken in late low sun.

Below is an old fashioned rose - normally a once only june bloomer, taken on 12th October. This was sent to me, so not from my locality.

late fragrant rose

battered by winds and heavy showers, coping with big swings in temperature, but as sweet as June.
